Top 10 Corporate Event Songs That Get Bodies Moving

I’ve written in other blog posts - picking songs is an art form. The pro DJ or muso knows what songs work in what contexts, and the amateur fails to read the room and plays whatever they’re vibing with currently at home - and their gigs fall flat.

Corporate events can so often fall flat because DJs don’t understand the scene - and it makes sense. Chances are, most beginner DJs haven’t been in corporate settings. They don’t understand the intricacies of the dynamic at play. People at corporate events want to have a good time - but often are concerned with who’s watching, who’s judging, or who’s firing them in the morning if things get too out of hand.

SO! How do you get bodies moving on a dance floor at a corporate event? These top 10 songs NEVER flop. They are classics for a reason. Here’s the list:

Uptown Funk - Bruno Mars
Footloose - Kenny Loggins
Shut Up and Dance - Walk the Moon
Hey Ya! - OutKast
Man! I Feel Like A Woman! - Shania Twain
Dancing Queen - ABBA
Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus
Can’t Stop The Feeling - Justin Timberlake
Shake It Off - Taylor Swift
and maybe.. just maybe.. if the party is pumping?
Mr. Brightside - The Killers

Again - all of these songs are a vibe. They’re ALL a good time. But none of them are so loose that you risk someone doing something at their work function they’ll regret in the morning!
